Steep rocky gorges, fast water and picturesque scenery: the Weinbach Gorge near Ramsau in Berchtesgaden National Park is one of the most spectacular canyons in Bavaria. In today's picture, the Weinbach River flows down between narrow rock formations about 200 meters long, forming layers of small waterfalls and carving amazing textures on the rocks over the years. Colorful rock formations reveal geological processes that occurred thousands of years ago.
A stable wooden plank road is built close to the cliff, leading tourists through this narrow canyon. At the end, the majestic Weinbach Valley suddenly opens up, nestled between the Watzmann and Hochkart mountains. It is also a popular starting point for hiking and mountain climbing. Since opening to the public in 1847, the canyon continues to attract visitors of all ages with its immersive natural beauty. Especially in spring, as the snow melts and the streams swell, the canyon landscape becomes even more stunning. Hiking here is like taking a journey through time, witnessing the primitive and majestic power of nature.Weinbach Gorge Waterfall, Bavaria, Germany

In the village of Oia on the Greek island of Santorini, this experience almost comes true. It has appeared in films such as "Summer of Jeans" and "Tomb Raider." The iconic Cycladic architecture—cube-shaped, flat-roofed white houses—and the breathtaking cliffside views seem to belong outside of the real world. Its unique architectural style originated in the late 19th century, when sailors and businessmen built houses directly on the volcanic cliffs, making it cool in summer and warm in winter. The blue and white paint is not just for aesthetics: the lime coating allows rainwater to flow down and be collected and used. Today, visitors can wander the cobbled alleys, visit the Naval Maritime Museum, or climb the ruins of St. Nicholas Castle to watch the unforgettable sunset.
Known as the "Eagle's Nest", Oia overlooks the two volcanic islands of Palia and Nea Kameni, as well as the island of Teresa, which was connected to Santorini before the Minoan volcano erupted in 1600 BC. Santorini itself is like a rocky crown in the sea - a huge crater half sunk into the sea, shaped by the eruption in 1600 BC, one of the largest and most violent volcanic eruptions in human history.Oia town, Santorini, Greece

- Wallpapar:Free download Purple wax mushroom, Sibek, Wallpaper(s) website provided. Did you know that mushrooms also have their own festival? October 15th each year is National Mushroom Day, a day that invites us into their wonderful world. For example, the purple wax mushroom in the picture is also called the amethyst deception mushroom. When it is young, its purple color is bright and dazzling, but as time and environment change, the color gradually fades and it is not so easy to identify. Despite its delicate and changeable appearance, this jewel-like fungus is not only edible but also plays an important role in the ecosystem.
Mushrooms are much more than pizza toppings or table side dishes, they are ecological powerhouses and critical to the health of forests. They break down dead material, recycle nutrients, and encourage tree growth through underground networks called mycorrhizae. Some mushrooms also help store carbon in the soil, playing a role in climate regulation. National Mushroom Day encourages us to be curious. Today, try a new mushroom recipe, read about how they protect the planet, or go on a mushroom-hunting adventure yourself. However, remember that you must harvest responsibly and never eat wild mushrooms without proper identification, as some of them may be poisonous.Purple wax mushroom, Sibek

- Wallpapar:Free download Eurasian lynx, Siberia, Wallpaper(s) website provided. Imagine a cat that can disappear quietly in the forest. This is the Eurasian lynx. The tufts on the tips of its ears and piercing gaze are unforgettable. As the largest of the four species of lynx, it can reach 42 inches in length and 30 inches in height at the shoulder. It has a strong body, strength and agility. The thick soles of its feet not only help it move silently, but also disperse its weight like snowshoes, allowing it to chase prey through deep snow. It mostly appears at night and hides in bushes or rock caves during the day. It quietly comes out at night to hunt deer, hares and squirrels.
Lynx lives a solitary life. Males and females each occupy their own territory and assert their sovereignty through scratches and scent marks, like secret signals left in the forest. However, their mysterious nature has not protected them from human threats. In the 1970s and 1980s, tens of thousands of lynx skins were exported from Russia and China, reducing their numbers to dangerous levels. Although fur trade restrictions have alleviated pressure, problems such as habitat loss from poaching and dwindling prey still pose an existential crisis for the Eurasian lynx.Eurasian lynx, Siberia

- Wallpapar:Free download Rock River Wilderness, Rock River Falls, Upper Peninsula, Michigan, Wallpaper(s) website provided. Deep in the Rock River Canyon in Michigan, Rock River Falls quietly appears in the glacier-carved landscape, surrounded by dense forests and filled with layers of history. On this land of the Upper Peninsula, human footprints have been traced for thousands of years. After the indigenous Algonquin people, French and British explorers followed in the 19th century during the mining and logging boom, and Finnish, Swedish and French-Canadian immigrants settled here. Today, this sparsely populated area houses only 3% of Michigan's residents, and the forests and waterfalls still retain an almost pristine tranquility.
To reach the waterfall, you need to hike along a winding trail, lined with towering pines and cypresses, maple trees, and under the shade of ferns and wildflowers. Red squirrels scurry among them, white-tailed deer move quietly, and the calls of gulls and woodpeckers echo through Hiawatha National Forest. At the end of the trail, an 18-foot-tall waterfall cascades down into a pool of clear water. As the seasons change, the place shows different styles. In summer, the sun dances on the water. In autumn, the treetops are dyed into a gorgeous sea of fire. In winter, the rocks are covered with crystal ice crystals. At Rock River Falls, every visit is a new encounter between the senses and the soul of nature.Rock River Wilderness, Rock River Falls, Upper Peninsula, Michigan
